Ok, i know that there are some people that are waiting for me to talk about the recently concluded and very succesful iblog2 summit.
Let me just say that yes, i had a grand time meeting people whose blogs i have regularly read and interacted with. At first i was really feeling the audience when it came to my talk but familiar bloggers like Sean , Jonas and Charo gave me a smooth run. I guess i was able to pull it off. (Thanks, it was a pleasure to have finally met you guys in real time.)
Dean Alfar's talk on the author as a blogger was pretty much the talk of the day. He was able to hold the crowd in awe with his usual banter and play of words. In fact, what turned out as a misspelled phrase on his presentation, "Do note fear tomorrow", might turn into another webring of sorts. (Pretty much like the Suman Latik webring from last year's summit.)
I was also able to get a copy of his novel, Salamanca, and wasn't able to put it down on my ride back home to Subic.
Well, i guess this'll have to do for now, although please wait for a lengthier review on the summit in the next few days.
You're going to have to excuse me, my wife has gone into labor and I am all too excited for my son's arrival. And yes, i did promise during my talk that it will be something i'll write about.
